A standard Medi Plaza centre can be established in a premises of 150 to 500 sq. ft. situated on a ground
floor or easily accessible commercial market area. It should have space for medicine storage/counter and a
partitioned doctor consultation / sample collection room.
No, you do not need to be a doctor yourself. Any ambitious entrepreneur or healthcare retailer can own and
manage a centre. For medicine dispensing, a registered pharmacist (employed or partner) will manage
dispensary requirements as per statutory pharmacy norms.
When your centre is approved, our system establishes an exclusive GPS-based geofence (usually 3 to 10 km
depending on locality). Any patient inside this zone booking appointments, ordering medicines, or
requesting home sample collection on the DR. Khokha portal or app is routed automatically to your centre.
Your staff collects samples using standard vacuum tubes and barcoded collection kits provided by DR.
Khokha. Samples are picked up daily by our certified diagnostic hub logistics, analyzed in NABL-accredited
central labs, and reports are directly uploaded to the patient's and your portal digitally.
